We’ll ask for information to help us understand if you can afford to pay your loan without difficulty, so we may ask for information to verify your identity, income and expenses. Below is some more detail as to what you may need to provide. 

DOCUMENTS YOU NEED TO SEND US

Note: Unfortunately not all of our loans applications will allow you to manually provide bank statements. In certain cases we require you use Credit Sense which is safe, secure and speeds up the application process.

YOUR INCOME 

1. Personal bank account statements

  • Must be provided
  • You must provide these statements for the account where your main income is deposited
  • You can upload these automatically using Credit Sense
  • Your payslips may be required on request, particularly if you’re salary sacrificing
  • If you are self-employed, your statements should show income from your business being paid to you 

2. If you’re self employed, you’ll need to provide your Individual Income Tax Return (ITR) and Notice of Assessment (NOA)

  • Your ITR and NOA needs to be provided for the 2017 or 2018 financial year
  • Your ITR and personal bank statements should show income paid to you from your business
  • We may also request further information, including company financials, depending on your circumstances

3. Investment property statements

  • Only required if you have a rental property
  • We require your last two rental confirmation statements 
  • Please provide a rental appraisal if you do not have a tenant
  • Your personal bank statements should show receipt of your rental income for the last 60 days

YOUR LIABILITIES 

4. Credit card statements

  • Only required if you’ve got existing credit cards
  • You have the option to upload these automatically using Credit Sense

5. Personal loan statements

  • Only required if you’ve got an existing personal loan
  • You have the option to upload these automatically using Credit Sense

6. Home loan statements

  • Only required if you’ve got an existing home loan
  • You have the option to upload these automatically using Credit Sense

WHAT’S AN ACCEPTABLE STATEMENT?

Your statement should cover the most recent 90 days of transactions, where the last transaction is no more than 30 days old. If you don’t have a recent statement please email us a transaction listing, along with a statement with your name on it to show that it’s yours.

USING CREDIT SENSE WITH MULTIPLE BANKS
