If you want to help pay out a loan or debt that belongs to a financial dependant of yours or someone else, then you should be aware that you will be legally responsible for the loan, which includes making all repayments in full. If you still want to go ahead, you should choose debt consolidation as the purpose of your application and drop us an email at to let us know what you’re doing.

By the way, you do not need to declare your financial dependant’s debt as your liability because you are not legally obligated to pay for it.
