If you apply for a MoneyPlace loan by submitting the full application form you authorise MoneyPlace to obtain a copy of your full credit file.

Although it’s common for lenders to put a mark on your file straight away, we go the extra mile to minimise the impact on your credit score where possible.  At MoneyPlace we try to work out if you can afford the loan before we mark your file.

However, if a record has been put on your file and you subsequently apply for a loan with another lender, they will be able to see that you applied for a loan with MoneyPlace.

It’s worth clarifying that we do not leave a mark credit file when you only receive a rate estimate.  Because that’s not a full loan application, we access your credit file in a special way that information is not disclosed to other lenders.
